IT minister vows export boost

ISLAMABAD: Minister for IT Aminul Haq on Monday said for IT (information technology) exports to reach their true potential, the problems of the industry and freelancers must be solved.
“In order to keep pace with the digital world, it was necessary to facilitate all stakeholders related to digital media,” the minister said addressing a seminar.
“Ease of doing business means there are no unnecessary barriers and the environment is conducive to work.”
Without these facilitative measures, the country’s IT exports would stay stunted.
