RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Maj-Gen Ahmed Sharif has made clear there will be no quarter for the perpetrators of May 9 violence against military installations.

Addressing a media conference at Rawalpindi right now, the military’s chief spokesman said in his opening statement the military’s internal system of accountability had kicked in and three senior officers including a major-general had been dismissed from service for negligence on the day that has since been dubbed Black Day.
