Opposition PTI seeks court ruling to halt move to delay Punjab polls

PSO gets Rs27bln grant to overcome losses in Kuwaiti diesel credit facility

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet approved an additional grant of Rs27 billion for the state-owned Pakistan State Oil (PSO) to overcome losses in a Kuwaiti diesel credit facility, finance ministry said on Tuesday, citing exchange losses due to rupee-dollar parity over the last one year.

Court lifts arrest warrant against Khan after mayhem in Islamabad

Although he was unable to attend the courtroom because of rioting in the Judicial complex compound, the court accepted Khan’s intention to appear in person in good faith, lifting the arrest order against him and putting off his arraignment until later. By Naveed Naqvi.
