ISLAMABAD: The coalition government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday invited Imran Khan’s opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party to hold talks aimed at strengthening and advancing the Charter of Democracy, the 2006 agreement signed by Nawaz Sharif and the late Benazir Bhutto that committed the country’s two largest civilian parties at the time to resisting dictatorship.
